Bengaluru: Bhatkal –  Honnavar MLA Sunil Naik on Tuesday made a significant claim that BJP state president BS Yediyurappa is guaranteed to become the chief minister of the state very soon, and that all the BJP MLA’s will meet on Tuesday evening to discuss the future course of the party in forming the government.
Although the young MLA refuted the claims of existence of ‘Operation Kamala’ and the party offering heavy sum of rupees to opposition MLAs, but confirmed that the party is trying to form the government.
“There is nothing like we are offering heavy amounts to the MLAs to join BJP, all those are rumors, bu definitely we are planning to form the government, there is absolutely no doubt in that” Sunil told reporters outside Kempe Gowda airport in Bengaluru.
“We haven’t offered money to anyone, but we will welcome anyone who wants to come voluntarily, their MLAs are not happy with the way things are turning out in the coalition government, so whoever wants to join BJP, we will welcome them. We’ve all seen their internal mess lately”
“Tomorrow assembly session will begin, Yediyurappa has called a meeting with all the party MLAs today evening, where we will discuss about all the possibilities. So in coming days, you may see change in government” Sunil said with a smile on his face.
Speaking of the reports that some of the BJP MLAs might join hands with coalition government after attempts of retaliation from the coalition government, Sunil said, “These reports are not true, all our MLAs are united and we are all in touch with each other, and every one will be present in the meeting today”.
