Yamuna murder case solved; killer Venkatesh arrested

Murdeshwar - In a dramatic development Police team headed by Bhatkal DySP Mr. M Narayan with conclusive evidence succeeded in arresting the killer and solved the case which sparked tension in temple town of Murdeshwar one week ago. The culprit is identified as Venkatesh Krishna Harikunta (30) of Murdeshwar town. This information was revealed by district SP Mr Raman Gupta at a press conference held here at Murdeshwar Police Station.

Addressing the jam-packed press conference SP Raman Gupta said, 'Police had kept vigil on several suspects and during investigation we have received an information that on the day of murder, a fisherman named Venkatesh was reportedly seen outside Fatima Manzil in a suspicious condition and his bike was also seen near that house. Investigating further on this information our search team finally succeeded in collecting enough evidence and arrested Venkatesh today. Mr Gupta congratulated the investigation team and their efforts in nabbing the real culprit.
