Y category security cover for three HC judges who gave Hijab Verdict: Karnataka CM Bommai

Bengaluru: Karnataka government on Sunday announced that it will provide Y+ security cover to all the three HC judges who heard and pronounced judgement in the Hijab Ban case. State's Chief Minister Basavaraj Bommai said that his government has decided to provide security to the three judges of the bench that include Chief Justice Ritu Raj Awasthi. The CM also said he has instructed DG and IG to probe the complaint filed in Vidhana Soudha thoroughly. Reports had earlier suggested that the three judges were facing threat after they pronounced judgement in Hijab hearing. (Source: Vartha Bharati)
