Woman drowns in a well while fetching water

08 September 2013 / Rizwan Gangavaly / Bhatkallys News Bhatkal: A woman, identified as Savita Naik, drowned in the well while fetching water from it. This incident took place in a house near Bharat Gas office on NH-66. As per sources, she was trying to fetch water from the well when she slipped and fell into the well and got drowned. After the autopsy, the corpse was handed over to the family of the deceased. This case was registered at the police station.
