Woman alleges sexual harassment by BJP MP Pratap Simha, releases audio and chat messages

Mysuru: A young woman while alleging that BJP MP candidate from Mysuru, Pratap Simha sexually harassed her has released audios and chat messages reportedly sent by the BJP leader on social media. The woman further alleges that Pratap Simha has cheated many other women including her. “He pretends to be a good man and when his desires are fulfilled he just leaves. He first befriended me and later started showing off his true colors. He promised to marry me and then betrayed” she alleged in a audio that is being widely shared on social media. “He used to call me every night and speak explicitly about sex and making sexist remarks about young women’s bodies was regular. He used to harass me this way and I have scolded him several times for this” she alleged. The audio, telephone conversation’s recording and screenshots of chat messages allegedly sent by Pratap to the woman was being widely shared on social media platforms. But no complaint has been reported in this regard. Vartha Bharati tried contact Pratap Simha for his reaction to the allegations, but the BJP candidate was unavailable for comment.
