We did not demand ban on PFI, says Kerala CM

Bhatkallys News Bureau Kerala Chief Minister Pinarayi Vijayan cleared that demand on ban on PFI which is a Muslim Organisation, from state government is a false allegation that has popped up these days. Union Minister Kiran Rijiju had reported the statement last month in the conference that Kerala government has demanded the ban on PFI organisation at the annual DGP Conference held at Madhya Pradesh. Vijayan said its not the government policy to seek ban on such organisations of any religion. He said, if the ban was to impose on such organisations then RSS would have been in the first category for triggering communal tensions across the state. He further said that kerala police has not proposed so far any written record for imposing such ban on PFI so far till date. Thus, quoting Rijiju's comment, Vijayan said neither in any conference nor at any meet the state had never proposed the ban on PFI.
