Watch Video: CCTV footage captures Gauri Lankesh's murder

Zaorez Shabab Bengaluru: A Close Circuit Television (CCTV) camera installed at the residence of Gauri Lankesh has captured the whole incident of her brutal assasination that took place on Tuesday evening. The 57 second's video footage that has been doing the rounds in media lately shows a man who is wearing a helmet to hide his identity firing at least four rounds of bullets at the 55 year old Journalist as soon as she returns home on her and opens the gate and runs away. Out of the four rounds fired three rounds hits Gauri chest while one hit her on the forehead. “The CCTV footage has captured the sequence in which the shooting happens but has provided little clues to the identity of the killer. The entire shooting gets over in eight seconds. The attacker is wearing a helmet and a dark jacket making it difficult to distinguish any features,’’ said police sources as per a report in Indian Express. IGP Intelligence B.K. Singh, is heading an SIT comprising of 19 police officers that is investigating the murder.
