VRP Manohar visits rain-affected area, assures quick relief

Bhatkal: Assistant Commissioner Dr V R P Manohar visited the rain affected area Kokti Nagar today evening and reviewed the situation. He likewise visited Mehrunnisa's house which was destroyed due to incessant rains. He instructed the concerned officers to temporarily make way for water to flow out from their compound and also to provide a permanent solution for this going forward. He also instructed the Tahsildar to provide immediate aid for Mehrunnisa's house.

Kokti residents submit memorandum to AC
Residents of Kokti submitted a memorandum to AC on a lasting solution for accumulation of water from Kokti pond in their area. Thereafter, AC visited the site and released his orders. On this occasion, ex-Municipal Cheif Inayatullaah Shabandari, Nizam Mamgati and other responsible members of the locality were present.
