VN Bhatkar takes charge as the Tahsildar of Bhatkal for second time

Bhatkal 4 July 2018: (Bhatkallys News Bureau) Veerendra N Bhatkar took charge as the Tahsildar of Bhatkal for second time in the last week of June, after he was transferred from Bhatkal during the Karnataka assembly election to Kodagu. Meanwhile VP Kothrali who was the Tahsildar of Bhatkal after Bhatkar's transfer has been transferred to Haveri as the Muncipal Tahsildar. A promoted KAS level one officer, Bhatkar first took charge as the Tahsildar of Bhatkal in June 2014 and was transferred to Kodagu on 26 March this year ahead of Karnataka assembly elections. Speaking to Bhatkallys.com Bhatkar said "I had been here for almost four years before being transferred, I know alot of people here, and the kind of people we come across here makes our job really easy. So it feels good to be back here I am looking forward for another good service here before I am transferred from here". On being asked about his priorities in Bhatkal a smiling Bhatkar replied "Everything" before adding "Everything that is of public concern is my priority, people know me well here, I have been working to the development of this town for four years and I have treated all the public grievances and concerns on priority".
