Violent rainstorm wreaks havoc in some areas of Bhatkal

17th June 2013 / Rizwan Gangavaly / Bhatkallys News Bhatkal: Violent rainstorm wreaked havoc today morning in Moosa Nagar, Jaali Road, Tagarogod, DongarPali and many other areas of Bhatkal where several trees were uprooted, compound walls collapsed and electric poles fell. However, there were no reports of any casualties. Houses of Iqbal Pathan and Abdul Azeez house in Moosa Nagar were damaged due to vehement storm. People residing near coastal areas were terrified owing to the storm which struck at 4:00 am in the morning.
