Videocon launches A27 with 4.0-inch display, Android 4.0 for Rs.5,999

Indian smartphone maker, Videocon Mobile Phones has added another  smartphone to its product portfolio - Videocon A27. The Videocon A27 is  powered by 1GHz processor alongside 512MB of RAM.  There is 2GB of  internal storage on this smartphone, which can be expanded by up to 32GB through a microSD card. It is a dual-SIM, dual-Standby smartphone that  runs on Android 4.0 (Ice Cream Sandwich) operating system. Videocon  A27 sports a 4.0-inch WVGA capacitive touchscreen and is powered by  1,500mAh battery. For camera there is a 3-megapixel rear camera and a  VGA front camera. Connectivity options include 3G, Bluetooth 3.0, GPS,  A-GPS and Wi-Fi. The smartphone is available in the market for Rs. 5,999 in two colour options - black and white. The dimensions of  Videocon A 27 are 125.2mm X 63.8mm X 11mm. It comes pre-loaded with apps such as Facebook, Saavn, Fun Zone, Movie Studio etc. Commenting  on the launch, Khalid Zamir, Head Product Planning and Development,  Videocon Mobile Phones said, "With the evolvement of the Android space,  the consumers are becoming smarter day by day and are demanding a  pertinent solution to all their everyday smartphone needs.
