Vamsi Krishna takes oath as district’s new SP

Karwar: Ex-SP of Dharwad district, Mr. Vamsi Krishna took oath as the new SP (Superintendent of Police) of Uttara Kannada district on Monday. He replaces Mr. R Dileep.
Speaking to the police officials after taking charge of the new post, Vamsi Krishna pledged to execute the responsibility and serve the public with utmost honesty and integrity.
Steps need to be taken to control crime and prevent complaints from public, he advised.
A native of Hyderabad, Vamsi Krishna is a 2009-batch IPS officer who served as SP of Dharwad district from September 2014 to December 2015.
