Valuables worth three lac robbed off house in Kumta

Kumta 14 November 2018: (Bhatkallys News Bureau) In an incident that has been reported in Kumta taluka, Burglars made away with gold and cash worth Rs. 3 lac after breaking into the house here at Koppalakaravada of the Taluka. According to the sources, on November 10, the family of Ahmed Salim Abdul Kadher went to Kollapur, and returnedd on Tuesday morning only to notice their house broke open and looted off gold weighing 80 grams worth rupees 2 lac and cash worth 1 lac. Kumta police personnel along with Bhatkal DySP Valentine D’souza visited the place and a canine search was also conducted at the spot. A case has been registered at Kumta police station and further investigations are underway. (Bhatkallys News Bureau)
