Uttara Kannada: SP Vinayak Patil suspends Siddapur Police Inspector for dereliction of duty

Siddapur 4 July 2019:(Bhatkallys News Bureau) Uttara Kannada Superintendent of Police Vinayak Patil on Wednesday suspended Siddapur Circle Police Inspector (CPI) for dereliction of duty. According to the reports the Patil was not happy with the officer John Anthony, who was allegedly delaying investigations in a murder case in a case that was reported under his Police Station’s limit. The probe of the case was later handed over to Mundgod CPI who after taking the charge cracked the case and arrested three people in connection with the case. Irked by his inefficiency, Patil then suspended Anthony after Mundgod CPI made three arrests in the case. (Bhatkallys News Bureau)
