Uttara Kannada SP transferred to Shimoga; R Ramesh to be UK's new SP

Bhatkal - 22 March 2011: Superintendent of Police of Uttara Kannada district Raman Gupta, is among the 24 IPS officers, who received transfer orders on Monday by the Karnataka state government, in a major reshuffle of police set-up.

Mr Raman Gupta has been transferred to Shimoga district as a Superintendent of Police while Deputy Commissioner of Police of Mangalore City Commissionerate R Ramesh has been promoted as SP and posted to Uttar Kannada district.
