Uttara Kannada SP transferred to Bengaluru; Vamsi Krishna to be district’s new SP

January 03, 2016 | Correspondent | Bhatkallys News Bhatkal: Superintendent of Police of Uttara Kannada district Mr. R Dileep, is among the Superintendents of Police, who received transfer orders by the Karnataka state government, in a major reshuffle of police set-up. After serving Uttara Kannada district for close to 2.5 years as district SP, Dileep has been transferred to Bengaluru's Crime Branch as IGP while SP of Dharwad district Vamsi Krishna will replace him as the district's new SP. A native of Hyderabad, Vamsi Krishna is a 2009-batch IPS officer and has been serving as SP of Dharwad district since Septmber 2014 . - ARF
