Uttara Kannada SP inspects parking, traffic management at Murudeshwar beach

Murudeshwar: 5 October,2025 (Bhatkallys News Bureau) Superintendent of Police of Uttara Kannada district Deepan MN, conducted an inspection of the parking arrangements and traffic management at the popular Murudeshwar beach, a key tourist attraction in coastal Karnataka.

During the visit, the SP reviewed the security and safety arrangements in the parking areas and other traffic-sensitive zones under the Honnavar Police Station limits. The inspection aimed to ensure smooth vehicular movement and prevent congestion, especially during weekends and tourist rush hours.

The SP also held a brief discussion with the police officers and traffic personnel present at the site. They were given specific instructions and practical suggestions to enhance public safety and maintain discipline in the parking and traffic management system.

The district police have been regularly monitoring the Murudeshwar beach area due to the steady rise in tourist inflow, particularly during festive and holiday seasons. The SP emphasized that ensuring tourist safety and efficient traffic regulation remains a top priority for the police department.
