Uttara Kannada SP initiates night checking drive across district to ensure law and order

Karwar: 16 October,2025 (Bhatkallys News Bureau)  In a bid to strengthen law and order across the district, the Uttara Kannada Police carried out an extensive night checking operation under the supervision of Superintendent of Police Deepan M.N.

Police teams from various stations were deployed across the district to inspect bus stands, banks, ATMs, major roads, highways, and public areas. During the drive, officers also checked suspicious persons and vehicles moving around late at night.

The operation aimed to maintain public safety, prevent crimes, and enhance night patrolling in sensitive areas. Officials said that similar checks would continue regularly to ensure peace and security across the district.
