Uttara Kannada fourth best District in Karnataka in PU II results

Bhatkal 16 March 2019: (Bhatkallys News Bureau) The PUC II Results 2019, Karnataka were announced by the Karnataka Secondary Education Examination Board's (KSEEB) on April 15. Udupi District emerged as the best scoring District yet again followed by Dakshin Kannada at number two and Uttara Kannada District stood at fourth spot. Apeksha Murdeshwar, student of RNS PU College stood first in the Taluka with a percentage of 97.66% while Humna Samiullah of Anjuman PU college for women and Chitra Mahale of The New English PU College stood first in the Taluka in Arts and Commerce stream with a percentage of 95.6% and 97.16% respectively. The overall pass percentage for Karnataka 2nd PUC exam 2019 has risen up to 61.73 percent with the highest score secured by students belonging to Udupi district. Girls have performed better than boys. More students passed the examination from rural areas than Urban area. The rural region had 62.88% pass percentage, while urban had 61.38%.
