Uttara Kannada: District administration distributes voter ID card in the middle of Arabian sea

Murdeshwar 22 April 2019:(Bhatkallys News Bureau) To attract and create awareness among people especially the first time voters, a team led by District Commissioner Dr.Harish Kumar and Zilla Panchayat CEO Mohammed Roshan distributed voter ID cards to young voters in the deep sea near Netrani i.e. 20 Km away from Murdeshwar here on Sunday April 21. The innovative initiative conducted by the district administration through SWEEP program distributed the voter ID to the young voters and urged them to cast their vote. Roopesh Gajanan Naik of Mutalli, Vignesh Subbraya Devadiga and Ganesh Shivanand Devadiga of Mavalli and Vinayak Vekataramana Naik of Mundalli were among the people who received the Voters ID during the drive. District SP Vinayaka V Patil, Kumata Assistant Commissioner Preethi Gehlot, Dilish Sasi, Tushar Dudi and P Shresta were present. (Bhatkallys News Bureau)
