Urdu mushaira on Nov 4 in Muscat

Muscat -In a bid to promote Urdu which symbolises the diverse, pluralisticand composite character of India, an urdu mushaira, with theparticipation of some top poets from India, will be held at the AlFalaj Hotel in Ruwi. To be held under the auspices of Urdu Wing ofIndian Social Club and the embassy of India, the mushaira will begraced by celebrated poets led by the eminent Anand Mohan ZutshiGulzar Dehlvi who turned 82 this year. Other well-known poets who willgrace the occasion include Meraj Faizabadi, Sheen Kaf Nizami, RahatIndori or Munnawar Rana, Malikzada Manzoor, Majid Deobandi, IqbalAshar and Shikha Srivastav.
