UPSC (IAS, IPS, etc) civil services main 2016 from December 6-9

NEW DELHI: The Union Public Service Commission (UPSC) has declared the schedule for the civil services (main) examination 2016, which will be held between December 3 to December 9. Candidates who qualified in the preliminary exam will be allowed to write the second phase of the examination, which is the main. The commission released the results of the preliminary exams on September 16. Those who will clear the main examination will be called for an interview. The final selection will be made on the basis of the marks obtained in the main examination and the interview. Candidates can check the detailed schedule for the exam on the UPSC’s official website . The examination will be held in two sessions: Morning (9.30am to 12pm) Afternoon (2pm to 5pm) No exam will be conducted on December 4 (Sunday) and December 8 (Thursday).
