Murdeshwar 07 May 2018: (Bhatkallys News Bureau) Uttar Pradesh Chief Minister Yogi Adityanath will visit Murdeshwara on May 08 to campaign for BJP ahead of Karnataka assembly elections. Earlier last week on May 03, Yogi visited Sirsi of Uttara Kannada District and addressed a public rally, he was also expected to visit Bhatkal on May 04, but his trip was cut short by the havoc in UP caused by sand storm and he had to rush back to take stock of situation in his state. On Tuesday, Yogi will address a public rally in Murdeshwar, 13 km from Bhatkal at RNS Rural Polytechnic college campus, scheduled to begin at 10.00 am. From Bhatkal-Honnavar constituency Sunil Naik is contesting the all important assembly elections for the first time. Bhatkal-Honnavar constituency holds significant importance for both Congress and BJP, and the absence of a potential third front in JD(s), both the parties are going all out against each other, earlier last month Congress President Rahul Gandhi visited the town and addressed a public rally. With his hardcore Hindutva speeches Yogi tend to attract Hindu votes and has been part of the party’s campaigning strategies during various state’s assembly elections.
