Unknown miscreants tried to torch parked car in Mundalli

Bhatkal - 15 Oct 2011: Unknown miscreants set ablaze parked car here at Mundalli area of Bhatkal. The car was belonged to Prakash Naik. A FIR has been registered in Bhatkal town police station regarding this incident.

According to the sources, Prakash Naik visited the house of his friend Dinesh Naik, who is a local unit president of BJP and parked his car outside his house. During night time, some miscreants allegedly set his car on fire and ran away. But the fire didn't catch properly and the car was safe.

On receiving this information, Bhatkal DySP, Mr M Narayan, Town PSI Mr Suresh Naik, Crime PSI Mr Umesh Kambli and Rural PSI Mr Naveen Chandra visited the spot and started investigation.
