Unknown assailant chops-off Forest guard's private organ

Bhatkal - 07 Sep 2011: In a gruesome incident, an unknown assailant attacked a Forest guard and chopped off his private organ here in Nouj forest area which comes under Heble gram panchayath limits. The victim was brought to Bhatkal Govt Hospital and later shifted to private hospital in Mangalore following his critical condition.

According to the sources, he was on a leave since from past one month and his mental condition was not stable. But speaking to reporters, he told his name as Shankar Patgar and alleged that a person named Somashekhar has attacked him and chopped off his private part. Many people believed that, he might have himself done this act since he is mentally ill.
