25th June 2013 / Rizwan Gangavaly / Bhatkallys News Bhatkal: Since the past few days, public has been complaining of unattended cattle plying on NH-66 thereby causing traffic congestions but after an accident on NH-66 today evening in front of the Telephone Exchange, public has become angry on cattle-owners. According to sources, an auto-rickshaw was heading towards Shamsuddin circle from Madina colony when fighting bulls suddenly came in front. As a result, the auto-driver Riyaz applied sudden brakes and hit a bull thereby damaging the auto else it might have led to a major accident. According to locals, these unattended cattle are day-by-day causing more and more problems for the public such as traffic congestions, etc when these cattle stand in the middle of the road. In this regard, it will be desirable that Majlis Islah-va-Tanzeem meets the cattle-owners and request them to leave the cattle at other suitable place or tie them in their own houses else it will lead to a lot of troubles for us.
