UKDFA 13th edition of Inter-School football tournament held in Bhatkal

Bhatkal: 15 February,2022 (Bhatkallys News Bureau) Uttar Kannada District Football Association (UKDFA) recently organised an annual inter-school football tournament for various age groups in Bhatkal. UKDFA is affiliated to Karnataka State Football Association (KSFA). UB Shetty Byndoor won the U-17 category, GHPU RMSA won U-14, New Shams School won U-12 and Ali Public School won U-19 category. JD(s) Taluka President, Inayathullah Shabandri was the Chief Guest of the closing ceremony. Other guests at the ceremony included President of UKDFA Aheed Mohtisham, Social worker Nazeer Kashimji, Bhatkal FC President Mohammed Ganim, Uttara Kannada Bodybuilding Association Vice President and BMYF President Azeez ur Rahman Ruknuddin Nadwi, UKDFA Gen Secretary Maawiya Mohtisham, Secretary of New Shams School Anam Ala and Principal of New Shams School liyakath Ali. Following is the list of award winners: UNDER 17 CATEGORY Best Striker : ANAN (UBSEMS ) Best Play Maker : HUZAIM (GVNS) Best Defender : AYAAN AKRAMI (GVNS) Best Goalie : AFFAN (UBSEMS) UNDER 14 CATEGORY Best Striker: NUFAIL (GHPU RMSA SCHOOL) Best Playmaker: MUSAHHIL (NEW SHAMS SCHOOL) Best Defender: FAZIL USMAN (GHPU RMSA SCHOOL) Best Goalie: AUSAQ (NEW SHAMS SCHOOL) UNDER 12 CATEGORY Best Player: RAEM (NEW SHAMS SCHOOL) Best Goalie: HUD (KNOWLEDGE INTERNATIONAL ARABIC SCHOOL) UNDER 10 CATEGORY Best Player: SAMRAN (ALI PUBLIC SCHOOL) Best Goalie: IBRAHIM (NEW SHAMS SCHOOL) Ibrahim Mj, Saqlain Sm, Ismail Mj and Hamdan officiated the matches during the tournament.
