UK District In-charge RV Deshpande visits Bhatkal

Bhatkal: Karnataka's Higher Education minister and Uttar Kannada District in-charge R V Deshpande visited Bhatkal yesterday and held a special meeting with government officials in the Circuit House, Bhatkal. On this occasion, he instructed government officials to resolve all the complaints made by public.
On the issue of Aadhar Cards, he comforted the public and said that they need worry too much about it as a more important NPR (National Population Register) card has been introduced which will be issued in municipality and local panchayat offices and will hold lot of importance. He further said that Aadhar card holders can get their cards converted to NPR cards by visiting Panchayat or places where these cards are issued.
On the issue of power cuts, he spoke to HESCOM engineer on the phone and asked him to resolve this issue. On the complaints related to stay of construction works by Municipality Chief, he gave strict instructions to the chief officer.
In the end, Deshpande addressed the government officials and said that it is their responsibility to ensure that the facilities provided by the government reach the public.
On this occasion, MLA Mankal Vaidya, Deput Comissioner Amkongla Jameer, Bhatkal Assistant Comissioner V R P Manohar, ASP Sudheer Reddy and other government officers were present.
