Udupi: Special trains to run on Konkan railway route during winter

Udupi, Dec 4: In order to reduce the passenger rush, Konkan railway has introduced special trains for the winter season.
Train number 01453 Lokmanya Tilak Terminal-Mangaluru Junction special weekly train will run from December 9 to January 6 every Friday. The train will depart from Lokamanya Tilak Terminal at 10.15 pm on Friday and reach Mangaluru Junction on Saturday evening at 5.05 pm.
In the return direction, Train number 01454 Mangaluru Junction-Lokmanya Tilak Terminal special weekly train will depart Mangaluru Junction every Saturday at 6.45 pm and reach Lokmanya Tilak Terminal on Sunday at 2.25 pm. This special train will run from December 10 to January 7.
This train, which has 17 bogies, will stop over at Thane, Panvel, Roha, Khed, Chiploon, Sangameshwara Road, Ratnagiri, Kankavali, Sindhu Durg, Kudal, Sawantwadi Road, Tivim, Karmali, Madgaon Junction, Karwar, Gokarna Road, Kumta, Murudeshwara, Bhatkal, Mookambika Road (Byndoor), Kundapur, Udupi, Mulky and Suratkal stations.
Train number 01455 Lokmanya Tilak Terminal-Madagon Junction special weekly train will depart Lokmanya Tilak Terminal on Sunday, January 1, 2023 at 10.15 pm and reach Madgaon at 10.30 am on Monday, January 2.
In the return direction, Train number 01456 Madgaon Junction-Lokmanya Tilak Terminal special weekly train will depart Madgaon Junction at 11.30 am on January 2 and reach Lokmanya Tilak Terminal on January 3 at 11.45 pm.
This train, which has 17 compartments, will stop over at Thane, Panvel, Roha, Mangaon, Khed, Chiploon, Sangameshwara Road, Ratnagiri, Rajapura Road, Vaibhavavadi Road, Kankavali, Sindhu Durg, Kudal, Sawantwadi Road, Tivim and Karmali stations.
