Udupi: Special POSCO court sentence man accused of sexually abusing

Bhatkallys News Bureau/ Wafa Kifa Udupi: Satish Naik (26) of Belve Village, convicted of sexually abusing a 9 yr old minor girl has been sentenced to five years of imprisonment along with the penalty of Rs 10,000 by the Special POCSO Court of Udupi District. The incident was reported four years ago on Jan 6, 2014. The girl was on her way to home when Satish took her to his home under Shankeranarayana Police Station Limit. He blindfolded and constrained her and then abused her sexually. A total of twelve witnesses were heard in the case. The accused was arrested after a complaint was lodged in the police station.
