Udupi SP visits Gangoli after parked bikes were set on fire; assure residents of arresting culprits soon

Gangoli 10 Jan 2018: Laxman Nimbargi, Superintendent of Police Udupi District, visited Gangoli on Tuesday to inspect the situation there after two parked bikes were set on fire this week calling for pressure from residents on police department for arresting the culprits at the earliest.
Speaking to the media after visiting the spots where the incidents took place, Nimbargi hinted about identifying the culprits already and assured of their arrest soon. He said "The team formed for investigating the case has worked tremendously and have gathered information about the suspects, and we are working for getting evidence against them for arrest". He further stated "Arrangements have been made to prevent them from escaping and additional forces have been deployed to avoid law and order situation".
Huge number of people gathered and requested SP to arrest the culprits at the earliest, SP again assured them of arrests and requested them to not to take law into their hands in whatsoever situation.
Several Police officials including Dy.SP, Byndoor Circle Inspector, Gangoli PSI and others were present along with the SP during his visit.
