Udupi: SIO Karnataka wing to organize year long campaign 'Many Religions, One India'

Zaorez Shabab Udupi 30 Nov 2017: “The Students Islamic Organization of India (SIO) Karnataka wing, has organized a year-long campaign on the ‘Many religions, one India’”, said Zeeshan, campus secretary of SIO Karnataka. He was addressing a press meet at the Press Club Udupi on Wednesday. During the press meet Zeeshan said, there is a need to save the pluralist characteristic of India, where the growing rates of communal riots and mob lynchings are the new trend. He said people need to reminded that India is a democratic country where the Unity among the citizens of different religions plays an important role in the development of the Nation. Zeeshan further added, these social evil can never help us in building better tomorrows, as the politicians and politics will always keep on their efforts to distance an Indian against Indian in the name religions. Zeeshan also informed that a conference will be organized in the city on December 16, wherein the National President of SIO Nahas Mala will also be present along with other office bearers of the organization. Shoieb Malpe, Mohammed Sharooq, Afwan and Milad were present in the press meet.
