Udupi: Pramod Madhwaraj inaugurates new homes for financially backward people

Bhatkallys News Bureau/ Ismail Zaorez Udupi 02 Jan 2018: Minister of Fisheries, Youth Empowerment and Sports Pramod Madhwaraj on January 01 inaugurated houses for financially backward, which were donated by Philanthropists here in Udupi. Speaking to media after inaugurating a house, Mahdwaraj said 'We had a plan of building a hundred homes for financially backward and needy people in Udupi, out of which eighty have been built and handed over to the poor who do not own any land or plots. The remaining twenty houses are expected to be finished by February which will be handed over to their respective recipient then. The minister then thanked the donors for providing shelter and security to the poor and needy people, and also thanked the constructions company who were convinced to work for the charity work.
