Udupi: Pramod Madhawraj gets blessing from the mother of BJP candidate before filing nomination on Congress ticket

Udupi 24 April 2018: (Bhatkallys News Bureau) Congress candidate of Udupi constituency Pramod Madhwaraj filed his nomination for upcoming Karnataka assembly elections at old Panchayat office, Bannanje on Monday, April 23. Pramod was accompanied by his Mother Manorama Madhwaraj. He submitted his documents relating nomination to the Election Officer H Kempegowda. After filing nomination, Madhwaraj while addressing media persons said, "After filing nomination, the rumours of me joining BJP will be at rest. As the locals here are happy with the congress government, we hope to come back in power once again in upcoming election". He further said that this election will be the toughest fight between the opponents and the biggest enemity is our own over-confidence. "I cant tell you the rate of expectation of votes for congress but people here will definitely support us", he added. Pramod also recieved the blessings of BJP's Udupi candidate Raghupati Bhat's Mother, who was there to accompany her son for nomination. (Bhatkallys News Bureau/ Wafa Kifa)
