Udupi: Man caught red handed selling Ganja to Manipal students; arrested

Bhatkallys News Bureau Mangaluru 11 Feb 2018: The District Crime Branch has arrested a youth and seized 1.5 kg of ganja from him while selling it to the students of MIT Manipal College on Friday, February 9. The accused has been identified as Abdul Rahman Safwan(29), a resident of Uchila. Acting on a tip-off upon reliable information,a team led by SHO Sitaram along with PSI Ganchendra and other officials caught Safwan red handed when he was trying to sell Ganja to the students. The siezed Ganja is estimated to be worth Rs 22,500. The case has been filed at Manipal Police Station.
