Two youths injured in separate road accidents on NH-66 Bhatkal

Bhatkal - Two Muslim youths have been injured in separate road accidents within a span of 30 mins on NH-66 Bhatkal. First accident occurred at 9 am at Tenganagundi cross between a Mahindra Jeep and a Splendor bike in which a youth has been severely injured. The injured has been identified as Sa'adaan s/o Sadullaah, a resident of Venktapur.
According to sources, he was travelling from Venktapur towards Bhatkal when he lost the balance and collided with a Mahindra Jeep which was travelling in front. He is working in a bakery near Shamsuddin Circle Bhatkal. He was provided the crucial first-aid treatment at Bhatkal Government Hospital and sent to Mangalore.
Second accident took place at around 9:15 near Shamsuddin Circle. According to sources, Zaheer s/o Rafeeq who is employed in the municipality as a water-man, was travelling near Shamsuddin Circle when a vehicle came in front and he suddenly applied the breaks. As a result, his vehicle overturned and he suffered injuries. He was provided with the initial first-aid treatment and sent back home.
