Two youths died in road accident near Muglihonda

Bhatkal – Two youths identified as Kamil (17) and Tanseer (17) from Shirur died in a ghastly road accident on National Highway near Muglihonda yesterday night. They were returning home after having dinner at Bhatkal’s City Light Hotel along with other 4 friends. According to the sources, the accident occurred at 8:30 pm when their bike collided with the lorry coming from opposite direction when they were trying to overtake another lorry. The injured were rushed to Bhatkal Govt Hospital and after providing first aid, shifted immediately to Manipal Hospital where they were pronounced brought dead. Both dead bodies have been handed over to the families after conducting post-mortem. A case has been registered at Bhatkal police staition and the investigation is going on.
