Murudeshwar: In a heart-wrenching incident, two youngsters lost their lives after drowning in the sea at Murudeshwar. The unfortunate event occurred around 5 PM on Sunday here.

The deceased have been identified as Moulana Ismail Barmawar, aged 22, and Khalil, according to authorities.

According to eyewitness accounts, the duo was enjoying a swim in the sea when they were suddenly engulfed by rough waves, leading to their tragic demise.

Murudeshwar Police have registered a case in this regard at Murudeshwar Police Station.
