Two tourists drown in Murdeshwar sea

Bhatkal, Aug 30, 2020 (Bhatkallys News Beareau) Two tourists, one from West Bengal and the other from Shivamogga, drowned in the Murdeshwar sea in taluka today. According to reports, Abhijeet Singh (24), a resident of West Bengal, was working for a company in Bangalore and had come to Baindoor to attend a wedding with friends. According to sources, Abhijeet had come to Murdeshwar to have fun with his friends this evening. Incidentally he was hit by a wave while enjoying the river waves and died. Jagdeesh (18), a resident of Shivamogga, had also come to Murdeshwar for tourism today when a wave engulfed him while he was swimming and he disappeared from sight and drowned in the sea. The bodies of the two have been recovered from the sea by evening and are being kept at the Murdeshwar morgue for an autopsy.
