Two Students Drowns in Apsarkonda Sea

Bhatkal - 15 Feb 2012: Two students drowned in Apsarkonda sea, a picnic spot located some 30 km from Bhatkal. The deceased have been identified as Raghuveer Naik and Sandeep Acharya. According to the sources, 3 students, 2 from SDM College Honnavar and one studying at Honnavar Computer Academy went for a picnic and were busy in swimming when one huge wave swept them away in the deep sea. One student, Subramanya Acharya was rescued by local fisherman.. A case has been registered at Manki police station and the investigation is going on.
