Congress leader Digvijaya Singh on Friday promised a Rs 2 lakh reward to anyone who bought tea from Prime Minister Narendra Modi or studied with him. Addressing a party-organised protest rally of farmers, titled 'chai ki charcha' , he said if anyone who claims that he had studied with Modi at the graduation level, he would give him the reward. The Congress leader claimed that Modi himself had "once admitted" he was a matriculate but was now claiming to be a graduate. "Poor educational qualifications don’t matter. What matters is the PM not speaking the truth,” he said Singh also attacked the RSS, saying, “Modi has been trained to speak lies since childhood by the RSS, which believes repeating a lie makes it sound like the truth.” In the programme which was attended by many senior Congress leaders, Singh said, “Modi came to power promising remunerative prices for agriculture produce. Three farmers have died at Dabhadi since. Modi has not kept his promise.” Ex-CM Ashok Chavan, who was also present at the rally warned the farmers and  said “Modi got away with all his lies. He has fooled you once, but do not fall prey to his false promises again”
