Two killed and six injured in two Lorries and Bolero car collision at Yellapur NH

Yellapur: 23 March 2021 (Bhatkallys News Bureau) On the Yellapur National Highway this afternoon, two women were killed in a road accident involving a Bolero vehicle and two lorries. Six other people were seriously injured, including children in the car, and were taken to Hubli Camps. According to reports, eight members of the same Bagalkot family were on their way to test drive a new bolero when a lorry driver lost his balance and collided with their vehicle from behind. Bolero lost control as a result, colliding with a tipper approaching from the opposite direction and becoming trapped between two lorries. AS a result of the accident, RajeshwariPardi (35) of Bagalkot died on the spot, while ChikkammaPatil (28) succumbed to her injuries before reaching the hospital. Police inspectors Suresh Yelwud and ManjunathGoder arrived on the scene immediately after the accident, rushed the injured to the hospital with the assistance of locals, and cleared the area for traffic on the freeway.
