Two injured in Bhatkal road accident

Bhatkal 20 May 2018: (Bhatkallys News Bureau) Two youngster reportedly sustained severe head injuries when their bike collided with an KSRTC bus here near Bhatkal bus stand in the early hours of Saturday 19 May.
The injured have been identified as Fayat Ajaif (19) and pillon rider Jalis Ahmed(17).
According to the reports the bus was heading towards Manipal from Murdeshwar, when at around 6.15 am the bus while turning into Bhatkal bus stand, the youngsters suddenly crashed into the bus, resulting in both the riders sustaining head injuries.
Locals immediately rushed both Fayat and Jalis to the Bhatkal Taluka government hospital, later both of them were shifted to a private hospital in Kundapur for further treatment.
The driver of the KSRTC bus registered a case against both the youngsters citing careless driving, Bhatkal town police is further investigating the case.
