Two Injured after Bus-Bike collision in Bhatkal

Bhatkal, 30 Jun 2016: Two people were seriously injured after their bike collided with a private bus at Shamsuddin Circle in Bhatkal on Thursday night. The crash happened at around 9.30 pm near the clock tower of Shamsuddin circle. According to the eye-witnesses, two men who were identified as Abdul Badie Kazia and Irshad, both residents of Moosa Nagar Bhatkal, were riding on a bike when it crashed with a Private Bus. Abdul Badie was found unconscious with serious Injuries and was rushed to Kundapur for treatment, where he was advised to be shifted to Mangalore, he is battling for his life now at a private Hospital in Mangalore. Zeeshan had sustained few injuries and is said to be doing well with the treatment. People who witnessed the accident said, the Private bus took a sharp and rash turn near the clock tower, resulting in the rider loosing his control over the bike and crashing in with the Bus. The Private bus is said to be absconding after the fatal accident, but with the help of locals the town police has identified the bus and they are trying to trace it. A case has been registered in Bhatkal Town Police Station.
