Two died in a road accident near Kaup

Udupi, November 18: A mother and her son died on the spot in a head-on collision between the KSRTC Volvo and an Innova, on the NH-17, near Kaup here on Thursday evening.

The deceased have been identified as Jaibunnisa (45), wife of Anwar, a resident of Ucchila near Kaup and her son Suhail (22), a BCom student studying in MGM College, Udupi. They were returning home from Udupi in the Innova.
