Two children die after falling in water tank

Bengaluru: Two children, including a one-year-old girl, were killed when they accidentally fell into a water tank under the limits of KR Pura police station in Bengaluru. Whitefield Division DCP Abdul Ahad informed that the deceased were identified a Basamma (1), and Naveen (5), children of Mallappa and Kavita of Chintakunta village in Yadgir district. It has been said that Kavita, along with her brother Bheemappa, was working as labor at an under construction building at KR Pura. Both the children fell in a water tank of the same building while playing, on Thursday afternoon. The KR Pura police have registered a case regarding this and launched the investigation.
