Truck laden with cattle confiscated in Bhatkal

September 8, 2015 | Rizwan Gangavaly | Bhatkallys News Bhatkal: As Id-ul-Adha nears, incidents of cattle seizures are on rise day-by-day and at different places cattle are being confiscated and men who transport them have been arrested. In a fresh incident, a huge truck carrying cattle from Hyderabad to Bhatkal was confiscated at Shirali Check Post by activists of hardline Hindu group and handed over to the police and three persons have been arrested in this connection. According to sources, the truck was laden with 24 animals and three persons - Govind Nagappa from Bidar, Tukaram, and Ibrahim - have been arrested in the connection and two have reportedly escaped, a source informed.
