Tree falls on electric pole, minor fire reported

  Ankola, 15 June, 2017 (Bhatkallys News Service) – A minor fire was reported 40 kilometers from Ankola on the Chinnagrama-Mabagi road after a tree dislodged on an electric pole. According to sources, the incident could have been avoided if forest officials had granted permission to axe the branches hanging over electric cables. No injuries were reported.
