Town municipality evicts unauthorized stalls on Bhatkal National Highway

June 09, 2015 | Rizwan Gangavaly | Bhatkallys News Bhatkal: Town municipality evicted unauthorized fruit stalls on Bhatkal National Highway in the wee hours of Tuesday morning. As per municipality sources, the stalls were causing inconvenience to pedestrians and commuters because of which the municipality had been asking them to remove the stalls for the past several months. When the requests landed on deaf ears, the municipality served a final notice to them on Monday and evicted the stalls today morning. Officials of police department were also present during the eviction. - ARF
