Tourist bus parked on shores at Murdeshwar beach starts sinking; crane plunges into action to pull it out

Murdeshwar 18 January 2019: (Bhatkallys News Bureau) Alert locals on Murdeshwar beach stopped a tourist vehicle from being washed away into the waters which was parked on the shores here on Thursday. According to the reports, a  mini bus that was parked on the shores after carrying tourists from Bengaluru, started to lose balance and started skidding in to the waters. Sources added that, when all tourists from the bus were out for swimming, the water level in the sea started to rise up, due to which the bus started to sink in the sand and was later being washed away in the waters. Alert locals tried to pull it out with heavy-duty nylon ropes, but failed as the bus was slowly skidding into the sea. A tractor was also deputed to do the job of pulling the bus out, but it did not work, the locals than arranged a crane which was hired and successfully puled the bus out of the waters. The Murdeshwar police also reached the spot during the course, the vehicle was let go after a few formalities at Murdeshwar Police Station. (Bhatkallys News Bureau)
